Polar Bears International
The Indianapolis Zoo is partnering with Polar Bears International on programs to help save these magnificent animals, including acting as an Arctic Ambassador for PBI.

Zoo-Supported Global Initiatives
The Indianapolis Zoo supports conservationists around the globe who are making a difference in home range countries of endangered and threatened animals.

MyCarbonPledge.com
This conservation initiative inspires individuals to make their own contributions to helping preserve the Earth's atmosphere.

Power Recycling WeekendRecycling and Sustainability Programs
The Indianapolis Zoo is committed to operating as a green institution and joining with our visitors in programs that promote sustainability over the long term. The Zoo recycles its paper, aluminum, corrugated cardboard, newspaper, plastics, and more.

The National Elephant Center
The Indianapolis Zoo supports the National Elephant Center, the result of a unique collaboration among zoos accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums; individuals and organizations that care deeply about elephants; and Waste Management, a corporation committed to the environment and species conservation.
